Altering the Mortgage Interest Deduction

NAIHP- The National Association of Independent Housing Professionals calls on all housing professionals to immediately contact their U.S. Senators and Representatives.

In an attempt to prevent going over the so-called “Fiscal Cliff,” Congress is considering altering the Mortgage Interest Deduction (MID).

The Mortgage Interest Deduction is critical to the recovery of the housing market and overall economy. Any change could reverse the progress made in recent months and stall a recovery.

Please use the links below to contact your Senators and Representatives and advise them, as their constituent, you are opposed to ANY change in the MID.

Finally, remember to be brief and to the point when calling their offices.
